    A friend of mine asked me to take his great dane/lab mix named Charlee..I Said NO..im not ready for another dog but of course he grabbed and tugged my heart strings..he wasnt going to be able to keep her where he was moving. Charlee is 3 years old and totally trained! She weighs 110 pounds [img]eek.gif[/img] i have never seen a dog this big! the pic i took dont do her justice either..but meet Charlee..im not attached and dont plan on being as much as I was before..but she will have a good happy home with me for now..

    Chele, I just love Charlee!!!
    I think it is wonderful for you taking in a pet.
    I know it is so soon after, have been there and done it with my 2 dogs.
    BUT, when they pull at yer heart, ya know it is a match.
    Timing is everything.....or so I have been told.

    Hoping Charlee brings you much joy.

    OMG OMG OMG.....I LOVE her!!! I would so have taken her in if I was back there and had a place where I could have a dog. I really miss not hvaing a dog. And I know you say you won't get attached but somehow they always find a way to weasel their way into our hearts so that we just cannot do anything but love them. When I had to give my Lab/pitt mix Sara up I bawled for 3 days. My eyes were swollen shut I cried so hard. But my Dad still has Ellie and my sister and her family have their three dogs so I don't necessarily not have a dog around. I wouldn't be surprised if in a few weeks you haven't formed a complete attachment to Charlee. Enjoy her and let her love you and return the favor to her....you won't be sorry. [img]smile.gif[/img]

    nobody ever plans on getting attached to anything...some people do it naturally without ever knowing until its too late...
